As a contributor you will be able to see all of the important product strategy, research and decision-making in Orbit.

You can add notes directly into Orbit, to help product and UX teams manage valuable product feedback. You can also comment on work in Orbit and keep connected with all of the critical research and product work.

What is a contributor?

What is a contributor: A contributor is a role in Orbit with access to product and customer feedback, and view-only access to the rest of Orbit. Contributors can create product insights, feedback and customer requests . A contributor has read access and can make comments in Orbit. A contributor can also create and edit their own notes in the feedback section.

Creating feedback in Orbit

Notes are individual pieces of product feedback. You can add notes manually by creating a new note in Orbit. When creating a note you can add a description, source, tag personas, add labels and more.

How can I check if I am a contributor?

You can check if you are a viewer by navigating to the settings page and checking your role under the members tab.

How can I change my user role?

To change your user role, you will need to contact your admin. If you can't contact your creator admin, you can reach out to support via the help section or email [email protected]
